E-commerce store with Poster API (migration from ShopExpress)
Challenge
A Japanese restaurant with delivery in Kyiv had a website on ShopExpress ($600/year subscription, closed code, limited functionality). The menu (1,200+ items) was managed in Poster POS. They needed a website with automatic synchronization with Poster, so that the waiter could update the out-of-stock list at the register, and customers would see it immediately on the website.
Solution
Migration to ocStore with full SEO preservation. Developed a synchronization module with the Poster API: when an item is removed from the blacklist, it becomes inactive on the site within 30 seconds. Integrated Prom API (catalog duplication in the marketplace), WayForPay for payments, Nova Poshta + Ukrposhta for delivery to other cities. Implemented a 4-level menu for complex classification of sushi / wok / sets.

Outcome
The client canceled their ShopExpress subscription, saving approximately $600/year on hosting. Mobile conversion increased by 31% (prior to migration, the mobile version of ShopExpress was poorly optimized). Synchronization with Poster eliminated manual work for administrators, resulting in a savings of 2 hours per day.
